Famed for it's production of honey, with many specialised varieties being available throughout the island.

Corsican food and drink is typically Mediterranean with an abundance of cheese, meat and fruit and vegetables of the season. Bruccini is a traditional Corsican delicacy; goats cheese, served with brandy at the end of a stewed boar meal.

Charcuterie is a major contributor to a Corsican's diet, which gets its distinctive flavour from the acorn and chestnut diet of the island's 45,000 odd free-ranging pigs.

Corsican Attractions
Corsica has a host of archeological and artistic attractions to visit. Visit Ajaccio, the largest Corsican town, a lively area in parts with several museums which are well worth a visit. Other towns worth visiting are Bastia, Bonifacio, Corte and Cap Corse.
