Ayia Napa – located on the south east coast of Cyprus

Holidays to Ayia Napa are proving tremendously popular this year for British holidaymakers. Ayia Napa is a brilliant resort for young groups looking for a very vibrant nightlife. During the summer months, the resort is mainly taken over by young groups and couples, although families are also seen here. Families are also seen a lot in the resort, especially during the lower seasons. Many families still visit during the summer months, but tend to stay further away from the 'square' where all the bars and clubs are. Transfers from Larnaca International airport take around 45 minutes. On the journey, you will see a lot of scenery as well as seeing the resort itself as you drive through it. It may seem quiet if you have a night transfer, however that is because you will not be going directly next to the 'square'. There are several beaches in Ayia Napa and all have fine, pale sands leading to the turquoise warm waters. They do get very crowded during the peak summer months and parasols and sunbeds disappear quickly. Nissi Beach is probably the most well known and is very attractive.
